Radiologic Technologist in Birmingham, AL

A new opportunity awaits skilled Imaging professionals with expertise as Radiology Technologists or X-ray Techs. This position covers a high-acuity Radiology Diagnostics unit, providing vital support for an 8-week contract, with potential extension to 10 weeks based on department needs.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week (days): Monday, Thursday, Friday
• Hours: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
• No weekend shifts
• On-call requirements to be discussed with manager

Qualifications:

• At least two years of recent Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech experience (preferably within the past three years)
• Minimum one year of travel experience in the imaging field
• Proficient skills in operating room (OR) and various radiographic procedures
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Ability to adapt quickly and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform general and specialized radiologic procedures in the Radiology Diagnostics department
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and quality patient care
• Support surgical and procedural imaging needs, specifically in the OR setting
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff, upholding professionalism and patient safety at all times
• Respond to on-call needs as assigned during the contract period
