Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Valid state license to perform radiography
  • Proficiency operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, with a strong emphasis on X-ray technology
  • Solid understanding of radiology protocols, safety standards, and radiation protection
  • Ability to assess imaging requisitions and select appropriate techniques to achieve high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach
  • Prior experience working as a Radiology Tech or X-ray Technologist preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including routine and specialized X-rays, in compliance with physician instructions and regulatory standards
  • Prepare equipment, supplies, and patients for procedures, maintaining safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
  • Accurately position patients to capture optimal images while minimizing exposure
  • Evaluate images for technical adequacy and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation
  • Ensure thorough documentation and maintenance of patient records
  • Adhere strictly to facility protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control policies
  • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needs for service
  • Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before, during, and after procedures

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
