Qualifications & Skills:
- ARRT certification (or equivalent) preferred
- Proven experience in general radiography and X-ray procedures
- Strong competency in CT and/or PET imaging techniques
- Familiarity with hospital imaging protocols and safety standards
- Experience operating imaging equipment and handling DICOM/PACS systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and patients
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and CT/PET scans, according to physician instructions and clinical protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality and image quality
- Accurately document images and patient information within electronic medical records
- Assist with patient positioning, capturing high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
- Uphold infection control and radiation safety practices at all times
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate and efficient diagnostic services
