Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, including standard X-rays
- Follow all safety protocols for patient and staff protection, maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, answering questions and ensuring comfort
- Accurately position patients and adjust equipment as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure imaging supports effective diagnoses
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and assist with documentation
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions promptly
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid professional licensure as required
- Experience with X-ray/diagnostic imaging in a healthcare setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of imaging safety procedures
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
