Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Valid ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • State license or eligibility, as required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Proven competency with diagnostic imaging equipment and procedures
  • Ability to maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract role; flexible shift options may be available depending on department needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by providers
  • Prepare patients for imaging exams, explaining steps to ensure comfort and understanding
  • Operate radiology equipment safely and in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records using electronic health systems
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other radiology staff
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning and coordinate maintenance as needed
  • Practice established infection control and safety procedures at all times
