Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Certification by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or eligibility to obtain
  • Valid radiologic technologist license
  • Proven experience working in radiology or imaging departments preferred
  • Competence in operating x-ray equipment and producing clear, accurate diagnostic images
  • Strong understanding of imaging safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout
  • Capture high-quality x-ray images for physician interpretation and diagnosis
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, addressing technical issues as needed
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and safety standards within the imaging department
  • Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for seamless patient care
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, monitoring inventory and supply needs
