Step into a dynamic imaging department within a major teaching hospital and impact patient care as a vital part of the Radiology Tech team. This contract role focuses on X-ray/Radiologic Technologist duties in a high-volume, high-acuity center equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The environment serves both adults and pediatrics from emergency, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings—offering a robust clinical experience.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour day shifts
  • Friday – Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Weekend schedule: all weekends required
  • Holiday support needed (unless pre-approved off)
  • Participation in on-call rotation, fairly shared among staff

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist
  • Open to candidates new to travel roles
  • Strong clinical confidence working in fast-paced, high-acuity care settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; a positive, helpful approach is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general and specialized radiologic imaging for a diverse patient population
  • Collaborate with lead techs, supervisors, and managers to ensure smooth workflow and quality patient care
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment (Shimadzu, Konica, GE, Siemens; EMR: EPIC)
  • Adapt to variable on-call coverage needs in a rotating schedule shared by the team
  • Uphold rigorous standards for patient safety and clinical excellence
