Seeking a skilled Imaging professional with expertise in Radiology and X-ray technology to support a dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute diagnostic imaging procedures, including general radiology and X-ray exams, following physician instructions and established protocols.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients accurately to achieve the best diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to review and analyze images, providing critical support for diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate patient records, complete necessary documentation, and ensure confidentiality within all processes.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols in the imaging department.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Valid state license (or eligibility) for Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in radiology/imaging environments.
- Strong understanding of imaging equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
