Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) - Charlotte, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday
• 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call or callback requirements
• No weekend rotation; consistent shifts as scheduled by contract
• Required to work holidays if they fall on your regular scheduled shift

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent recognized credential)
• Previous experience as an Imaging or X-ray Technologist in a hospital environment strongly preferred
• Thorough knowledge of radiology equipment, safety guidelines, and imaging protocols
• Proficient with portable radiographic procedures
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Must demonstrate adaptability when performing scans in various areas within the radiology department

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray exams on scheduled shifts, accurately following physician orders and departmental procedures
• Operate digital and portable radiology equipment across multiple areas of the department
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during imaging procedures
• Maintain detailed records and document all procedures in the electronic medical record
• Practice radiation safety measures for patients, families, and staff
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to deliver excellent patient care
