Deliver expert radiologic imaging services as an X-ray Technologist in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong imaging and radiology skills, providing crucial diagnostic support to a high-performing medical team.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general and specialized X-ray examinations across various hospital areas and portable imaging units
- Assist physicians in selecting imaging techniques and positioning patients for optimal results
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and proper operation of radiologic equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic images in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed records and update patient documentation within electronic medical records
- Respond to on-call needs as part of a fair rotation, ensuring coverage is equitably distributed among all team members, including full-time, part-time, PRN, and travel staff
- Work on holidays if they fall on your scheduled weekday shifts
Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Active state licensure and ARRT (R) certification required
- Demonstrated proficiency in general radiology imaging procedures and use of digital X-ray equipment
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
- Experience working various shifts, with flexibility to accommodate on-call duties and fair schedule rotations
- Prior hospital-based radiology experience is strongly preferred
Additional Information:
- No requirement to float outside X-ray/imaging areas or portables within this facility
- Holidays are scheduled only when they fall within your regular shift pattern
- Weekends are not rotated; travelers will maintain consistent weekday night shifts per contract terms
