Key Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification or equivalent for Radiologic Technologists
- Active state license for Radiologic Technology (if required)
- Proven experience operating imaging equipment, including X-ray and radiology diagnostic devices
- Knowledge of safety protocols and proper patient positioning
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate image capture
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-rays and other radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and safety
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques based on clinical needs
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment following quality assurance protocols
- Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety standards
- Document and maintain imaging records in accordance with departmental guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care
