This contract position calls for a skilled healthcare professional experienced in radiologic imaging and supporting interventional radiology processes under the guidance of general supervision.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, flexible hours depending on departmental needs

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
  • Valid state licensure as required for radiologic technologists
  • Experience with computerized tomographic (CT) imaging and general diagnostic radiology procedures
  • Prior clinical experience in interventional radiology (preferred for RN roles)
  • Competency in operating modern imaging equipment and adhering to radiation safety standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • BLS certification; ACLS preferred for interventional roles

Responsibilities:

  • Perform computerized tomographic (CT) scans in accordance with standardized protocols and physician directives
  • Conduct general diagnostic radiology examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure
  • Assist radiologists and interventional teams during minimally invasive procedures, contributing to patient preparation and monitoring as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Ensure equipment readiness and adherence to quality assurance guidelines
  • Contribute to a safe, sterile, and supportive patient care environment
