This contract position calls for a skilled healthcare professional experienced in radiologic imaging and supporting interventional radiology processes under the guidance of general supervision.
Schedule:
- Full-time, flexible hours depending on departmental needs
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
- Valid state licensure as required for radiologic technologists
- Experience with computerized tomographic (CT) imaging and general diagnostic radiology procedures
- Prior clinical experience in interventional radiology (preferred for RN roles)
- Competency in operating modern imaging equipment and adhering to radiation safety standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred for interventional roles
Responsibilities:
- Perform computerized tomographic (CT) scans in accordance with standardized protocols and physician directives
- Conduct general diagnostic radiology examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Assist radiologists and interventional teams during minimally invasive procedures, contributing to patient preparation and monitoring as needed
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensure equipment readiness and adherence to quality assurance guidelines
- Contribute to a safe, sterile, and supportive patient care environment
