Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday (7:00am – 7:30pm); weekend-only position
  • 13-week contract
  • Call responsibility varies; shared fairly among all staff
  • Holiday coverage required unless otherwise approved

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT-R certification
  • Active BLS certification
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology Tech or X-ray Technologist
  • Able to deliver excellent diagnostic imaging for adult and pediatric patients
  • Strong communication abilities and a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Confidence in clinical skills, especially when managing high patient volumes and acuity

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide spectrum of radiology exams and procedures across emergency, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings
  • Operate an array of advanced imaging technology including Shimadzu, GE, Siemens, and Konica equipment
  • Ensure accurate imaging documentation within the EPIC system
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume department (350-400 patients daily)
  • Rotate shared on-call duties; collaborate with diverse technologists and leaders in both departmental and facility-wide initiatives
  • Uphold exceptional patient care and safety standards at all times
