Bring your expertise as a Radiology Tech or X-ray Technologist to a busy imaging department supporting vital diagnostic services. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals ready to make a direct impact in patient care through high-quality imaging while enjoying a consistent schedule and specialized responsibilities.
Schedule & Hours:
- 8-hour night shifts
- Monday through Friday, 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
- 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent
- State license as required
- Proficient in performing a wide range of x-ray and radiology procedures
- Strong attention to image quality, safety protocols, and patient care
- Ability to adapt to various x-ray areas and perform portable studies within the facility
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with clinical staff and patients
- Previous experience in a hospital or busy imaging facility is highly preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures for accurate diagnosis and patient treatment
- Prepare, position, and assist patients throughout the imaging process
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment following all safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure top-quality imaging and patient outcomes
- Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and adhere to facility protocols
- Float within designated x-ray areas and provide portable imaging as needed within the facility
- Maintain flexibility to work holidays that fall on scheduled shifts
