Radiologic Technologist in Cumming, GA

An opportunity is available for an experienced Radiology/X-Ray Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This contract position offers both 10-hour and 8-hour day shifts, providing flexibility to fit different scheduling needs. Required Skills & Credentials:

• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), including ARRT (R)
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in a range of diagnostic radiology, including operating room procedures, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and emergency department studies
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Schedule:

• 10-hour and 8-hour day shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray procedures on patients as ordered by healthcare providers
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and safely in a variety of clinical settings such as the operating room, ED, and bedside for portable studies
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure imaging documentation is completed promptly
• Adhere to infection control protocols and radiation safety guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care
