Advance your career in diagnostic imaging at a respected Level III Trauma Center with a dedicated role supporting patient care and clinical excellence. This is a 13-week contract opportunity for skilled technologists with both Imaging - Radiology and X-ray capabilities.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Every other weekend rotation

Required Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT (R) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 6 months’ radiology experience
  • Proficiency in OR, ER, portable, and general radiologic procedures
  • Strong reliability, dependability, and commitment to delivering excellent patient care

Responsibilities:

  • Follow orders from the Radiologist to perform high-quality Radiologic studies, including all aspects of patient preparation, safety, and comfort
  • Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and confirm medical histories as needed
  • Analyze anatomical structures, select proper equipment settings, position patients, and perform imaging using best safety practices—including radiation dose reduction
  • Prepare procedure rooms; manage supplies and ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
  • Administer IV contrast when required and monitor patients for possible reactions, providing immediate care if necessary
  • Complete comprehensive documentation in both PACS and RIS systems, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Serve as a resource to new staff and students when needed, in addition to fulfilling all primary role responsibilities
  • Consistently exemplify professional standards through open communication, a positive attitude, and respect for all patients and colleagues
