Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) | Dearborn, Michigan

Seeking a skilled radiologic professional to deliver high-quality imaging services on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and have a strong background in diagnostic radiology, specifically X-ray procedures. Professionals will work with state-of-the-art equipment including GE, OEC C-arms, and Carestream Portables.

Schedule:

• 7 PM to 7 AM shifts
• Block scheduling available
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform radiologic exams and diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment
• Properly position patients and ensure their safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Work efficiently with Carestream Portables, GE systems, and OEC C-arms
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Accurately document exams and update patient records
• Communicate promptly and professionally with healthcare providers and patients

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a radiologic or X-ray technologist
• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills
