Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
- Valid state license to practice as a Radiology Tech (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in general radiography and familiarity with a range of imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Adaptability and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience in a hospital imaging department preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality radiologic procedures according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate exposure factors for optimal results
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide timely, accurate radiologic services
- Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with hospital policies
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and department standards for radiation safety
- Assist with patient education regarding procedures as needed
