As a Radiology Technologist, you'll provide essential imaging services that support accurate diagnosis and improved care for patients in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in imaging technology and your attention to detail will play a critical role in the imaging department’s daily operation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting
  • Proficiency in operating a variety of diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray and fluoroscopy
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and patient care skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and function efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for exams ensuring accuracy and comfort
  • Operate digital imaging equipment and monitor resulting images for quality assurance
  • Safeguard patient privacy and comply with all HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to evaluate and report findings
  • Assist in maintaining equipment, supplies, and a safe imaging environment
  • Keep accurate records and documentation of procedures performed
  • Support patients before, during, and after procedures with clear communication and compassionate care
