Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Valid state license to practice as a Radiology Tech
  • Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, safety standards, and equipment operation
  • Prior experience in a healthcare imaging department strongly preferred
  • Ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients and staff
  • Excellent attention to detail and precise documentation skills
  • Familiarity with digital imaging systems and electronic health records

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with a focus on safety and comfort
  • Ensure all protocols are followed to minimize patient exposure to radiation
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and verify physician orders
  • Perform routine equipment checks and arrange for maintenance or repairs if necessary
  • Adhere to facility policies, infection control guidelines, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate prompt diagnosis and care
