Seeking an experienced radiology professional skilled in X-ray and imaging to support a high-acuity clinical environment. This contract position offers opportunities to work alongside talented clinicians and provide essential diagnostic support for diverse patient populations. The role is well-suited to individuals with previous exposure to trauma centers and operating room settings.

Schedule:

  • Option 1: 11:00 am – 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Option 2: 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm, every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proven experience with level 1 or level 2 trauma cases
  • Prior experience in operating room (OR) environments is required
  • Preference for candidates with background in orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire high-quality diagnostic radiology images, including X-rays and specialized studies, as ordered by medical providers
  • Collaborate with surgical and emergency teams to provide timely imaging in trauma and operative scenarios
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and patient privacy regulations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and appropriate utilization of radiology equipment
  • Support physicians and surgeons by providing intraoperative imaging as needed for orthopedic, neurological, and vascular procedures
