Opportunities are available for skilled Radiology Technologists who are passionate about providing high-quality imaging services. This contract position offers the chance to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential support to the radiology team and contributing to patient care.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- 14-week contract beginning June 29, 2026, ending October 2, 2026
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Radiologic Technology or X-ray Technology
- Current ARRT-R certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong understanding of radiologic procedures, equipment operation, and patient safety principles
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain examinations to patients
- Commitment to infection control and up-to-date clinical protocols
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic procedures as ordered, exercising independent judgment for best imaging results
- Prepare and position patients, review requisition data, and obtain additional patient history as needed
- Set up, operate, and sanitize radiological equipment; replenish procedure room supplies
- Practice radiation protection techniques and maintain sterilization and infection control standards
- Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor for patient reactions, providing care if necessary
- Document all imaging studies, patient information, and relevant clinical data in the medical and radiology information systems (RIS/PACS)
- Provide guidance and training to students or new staff as required
- Collaborate with radiologists and other team members, ensuring open, effective communication and professional conduct at all times
