Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Valid state licensure as a Radiology Technician
- Proven experience in operating radiologic equipment and performing diagnostic imaging
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and patient positioning techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort at all times
- Operate X-ray and related equipment to produce high-quality images
- Evaluate images for accuracy, ensuring optimal clarity for diagnostic interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record system
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety measures to protect patients, staff, and oneself
- Support radiologists and medical teams with timely delivery of diagnostic information
- Contribute to the upkeep and calibration of radiologic equipment
