An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional to bring expertise as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist within a reputable clinical setting. This contract assignment involves working in a dynamic radiology department, delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services in alignment with contemporary standards and patient-centered care.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Rotating weekends required
  • 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging, following all state, federal, and professional protocols.
  • Utilize, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of imaging equipment, including GE systems.
  • Provide support in the Operating Room; must demonstrate confidence and skill in intraoperative settings.
  • Coordinate and carry out daily imaging procedures independently within a large, fast-paced facility.
  • Maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout imaging processes.
  • Adapt procedures as needed based on individual patient needs and real-time assessment.
  • Document accurately and maintain meticulous records per departmental standards.
  • Support patient preparation and provide clear communication throughout exams.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
  • Valid NJ State Radiologic Technologist License (RT).
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • BLS certification required.
  • At least 18 months recent experience as an X-ray Technologist, including previous work in large hospital environments—travel experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated competence with GE imaging equipment and comfortable working independently, including in OR settings.
  • Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
