An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional to bring expertise as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist within a reputable clinical setting. This contract assignment involves working in a dynamic radiology department, delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services in alignment with contemporary standards and patient-centered care.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Rotating weekends required
- 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging, following all state, federal, and professional protocols.
- Utilize, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of imaging equipment, including GE systems.
- Provide support in the Operating Room; must demonstrate confidence and skill in intraoperative settings.
- Coordinate and carry out daily imaging procedures independently within a large, fast-paced facility.
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout imaging processes.
- Adapt procedures as needed based on individual patient needs and real-time assessment.
- Document accurately and maintain meticulous records per departmental standards.
- Support patient preparation and provide clear communication throughout exams.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Valid NJ State Radiologic Technologist License (RT).
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- BLS certification required.
- At least 18 months recent experience as an X-ray Technologist, including previous work in large hospital environments—travel experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated competence with GE imaging equipment and comfortable working independently, including in OR settings.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
