This assignment offers exposure in a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center, giving you access to a wide-ranging caseload and state-of-the-art facilities. Working across five specialized procedure rooms—including Cath, EP, Hybrid, and IR—you’ll build invaluable expertise as you work with a dedicated, collaborative team.
Your professional journey will be supported through cross-training opportunities in both cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology, fostering deeper mastery of advanced procedural technology and witnessing diverse leadership and workflow styles. Qualifications / Experience
- 2 years of recent Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience required
- Cross-training in both modalities highly preferred
- ARRT and IEMA (IL license) credentials, with active BLS and ACLS
- Proven ability to scrub and pan, with proficiency in Impella, balloon pumps, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Comfortable with adult patients, inpatient and outpatient procedures
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in acute care settings
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality imaging and procedural assistance for cardiac, vascular, and neurological interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including RNs, charge nurses, and cardiologists
- Float between IR and Cath Lab as required and skill-appropriate
- Participate in on-call rotations (weekends and evenings), contributing to critical patient care responses
Schedule/Hours
- On-call rotation: 10–11 shifts per month with weekends and holidays included in call
- 30-minute response time required during call hours
