An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled X-Ray Technologist with radiology experience. This vital role supports a high-volume hospital environment and plays a key part in delivering advanced diagnostic imaging services. The assignment is part time, beginning August 17, 2026, and concluding November 14, 2026.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Every other weekend required
- 37.5 hours per week
- 7.5 hours per day
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Valid NJ State RT License
- ARRT certified
- Current BLS certification
- At least 18 months of recent experience in the field
- 1–3 years’ proven experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Proficiency with GE imaging equipment
- Confident performing in the operating room
- Experience in high-capacity hospital settings (900 beds or more) and demonstrated ability to work independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging and treatment procedures as outlined by state, federal, and professional standards
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and care of patients prior to, during, and after imaging procedures
- Skillfully maintain and operate a range of imaging equipment, including troubleshooting and routine care
- Monitor and adapt procedures as needed, and coordinate daily imaging tasks
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedural records
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, possessing solid communication and analytical skills
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
