Embark on a rewarding 14-week contract as a Radiologic Technologist, bringing your imaging expertise to a well-established healthcare environment. You’ll play a vital role in diagnostic patient care, collaborating closely with radiologists and leveraging the latest medical imaging technology.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Start Date: June 29, 2026
Estimated End Date: October 2, 2026
What You’ll Do:
- Perform radiologic and x-ray procedures for evaluating pathological conditions, following physician orders and department protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by thoroughly explaining procedures and preparing exam rooms with necessary supplies.
- Apply independent judgment in selecting techniques, equipment settings, and positioning for optimal imaging results.
- Administer intravenous contrast media when required, monitoring for patient reactions and providing immediate care if needed.
- Maintain rigorous radiation safety and infection control practices in accordance with ALARA principles and department standards.
- Record comprehensive, accurate data in both the patient’s medical record and radiology information systems (PACS/RIS).
- Take an active role in problem-solving, image quality assurance, and participate in the education of new staff or students when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with the team by upholding professional communication, respecting diversity, and supporting patient confidentiality.
Desired Experience & Certifications:
- At least one year of experience in radiology and imaging.
- Active ARRT (R) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
