Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) | Gastonia, North Carolina

We are seeking skilled Radiology Technologists/X-ray Technologists to deliver high-quality imaging services within an advanced, fast-paced department averaging 350-400 patients daily. Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Every weekend; holiday coverage may be required unless approved in advance
• 13-week contract with consistent shift scheduling
• Call duties shared equally among all staff; frequency based on team size

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT-R registration
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to thrive in a high acuity environment
• Effective communication and a cooperative approach to teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform radiologic exams for both adult and pediatric populations from the ER, ICU, nursing units, and outpatient settings
• Adhere to established protocols and deliver patient-centered care at all times
• Utilize hospital EMR system (EPIC) and operate department-specific imaging equipment (e.g., Shimadzu, GE, Siemens)
• Collaborate with technologists, lead techs, supervisors, and management for seamless department operations
• Participate in a fair on-call and holiday rotation
