Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, adhering to safety standards and protocols
• Accurately position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and correct results
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess imaging needs and deliver timely results
• Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and report malfunctions as needed
• Safeguard patient privacy by following HIPAA and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures
• Observe and implement infection control and radiation safety procedures at all times

Desired Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Certification and registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• State licensure as required
• Prior experience in general diagnostic radiography; contract or hospital experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of digital imaging (PACS), and a patient-first, detail-oriented approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
