Step into a critical role supporting diagnostic imaging services as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Active state licensure in radiologic technology
- Proficiency with X-ray equipment and related imaging technology
- Previous experience working as an Imaging or Radiology Tech, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong understanding of safety standards for radiation protection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently while following established protocols and physician instructions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiology exams including routine X-rays and specialized imaging studies as ordered by providers
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures ensuring safety, comfort, and image quality
- Operate radiologic equipment, monitor for proper function, and perform required quality control checks
- Maintain accurate records of each imaging procedure
- Communicate promptly with medical staff regarding results and any urgent findings
- Adhere to all regulatory and facility policies regarding patient privacy, safety, and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and appropriately supplied work environment
