X-Ray Technologist | Grosse Pointe, Michigan

Step into a dynamic healthcare setting as a vital member of the Imaging department, utilizing your expertise as a Radiology Tech/X-ray Technologist. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience with advanced imaging procedures in a high-acuity environment, supporting a diverse patient population.

Schedule:

• 11:00 am – 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday (no weekends required with this shift)
• 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm, every other weekend (for the second shift)

Qualifications:

• Certified by ARRT, with a valid BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience in a level 1 or level 2 trauma center
• Prior experience assisting in the Operating Room required
• Familiarity with orthopedic, neuro, and vascular surgical procedures strongly preferred
• Proficiency in producing high-quality diagnostic images while delivering excellent patient care
• Strong collaborative and communication skills in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic exams and procedures, including intraoperative imaging during complex surgical cases
• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes in the OR
• Operate and maintain X-ray and digital imaging equipment, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols
• Accurately document procedures and patient records according to department standards
• Prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple requests in a trauma setting
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing emergency and scheduled imaging
