Advance your career as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist in a dynamic hospital setting renowned for its Level I Trauma services and diverse patient population. This contract position offers consistent weekend 12-hour day shifts with the opportunity to work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team in a modern facility equipped with the latest imaging technology.
Schedule:
- 12-hour day shifts: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Weekend position: All weekends required
- Rotational call responsibilities, equitably shared among staff
- Holiday coverage expected unless approved in advance
- 13-week contract with no weekday rotation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist
- BLS certification required
- ARRT-R credential required
- Confident clinical skills and ability to perform in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication abilities and commitment to teamwork
- Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients across various units (ED, ICU, outpatient)
- First-time travelers are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality radiological exams for diverse patient populations, including trauma and stroke cases
- Collaborate efficiently with a team of technologists, supervisors, and managers
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Shimadzu, Konica, GE, and Siemens modalities
- Flexibly contribute to department goals and support team members in a collaborative environment

- Full departmental orientation provided (flexible based on experience)
- Work in a state-of-the-art Chest Pain and Stroke Center with robust mentorship
