Advance your career as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist in a dynamic hospital setting renowned for its Level I Trauma services and diverse patient population. This contract position offers consistent weekend 12-hour day shifts with the opportunity to work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team in a modern facility equipped with the latest imaging technology.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Weekend position: All weekends required
  • Rotational call responsibilities, equitably shared among staff
  • Holiday coverage expected unless approved in advance
  • 13-week contract with no weekday rotation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist
  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT-R credential required
  • Confident clinical skills and ability to perform in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication abilities and commitment to teamwork
  • Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients across various units (ED, ICU, outpatient)
  • First-time travelers are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiological exams for diverse patient populations, including trauma and stroke cases
  • Collaborate efficiently with a team of technologists, supervisors, and managers
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Shimadzu, Konica, GE, and Siemens modalities
  • Flexibly contribute to department goals and support team members in a collaborative environment
