Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT certification required)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Proficiency in performing general X-rays and operating digital imaging equipment
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines
  • Ability to obtain and document clear, diagnostic images with minimal retakes
  • Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

Schedule/Hours:

  • Specific shift and scheduling details to be discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort
  • Properly position patients and adjust equipment for optimal image quality
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained and functionally safe
  • Adhere to all infection control and radiation safety practices
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other care team members
