Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) | Huntersville, North Carolina

Seeking an experienced Imaging professional with expertise as a Radiologic Technologist/X-ray Tech to deliver high-quality care. This contract opportunity is ideal for those dedicated to precision imaging and compassionate patient support in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 11:00 pm – 7:30 am.
• No weekend shift rotations; travelers maintain their assigned days and shifts.
• Call is required, distributed fairly among full time, part time, PRN, and traveler staff members. Frequency is determined by team size and equitable rotation.
• Must work holidays if they fall on your normally scheduled day.
• No floating to other departments; assignments are limited to various x-ray areas and portable exams within this facility.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Valid state licensure or eligibility.
• Proficiency in standard and portable x-ray procedures across diverse patient populations.
• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in imaging services.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Deliver compassionate patient care, clearly explaining procedures and prioritizing patient comfort.
• Accurately document imaging information and support efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with fellow imaging professionals and clinical teams for optimal patient outcomes.

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
