Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification (or eligibility)
• Valid state license or ability to obtain (as required)
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in diagnostic radiography preferred
• Proficient in portable and emergency X-ray procedures
• Superior communication and patient care skills
• Ability to assist, lift, and mobilize patients as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams, accurately positioning and preparing patients
• Operate, select, and maintain imaging equipment for various procedures
• Restrict radiation exposure through safe practices and proper equipment adjustment
• Conduct portable X-ray exams in various hospital units, including the OR and ER
• Accurately mark, identify, and process patient radiographs
• Support administrative functions: scheduling, patient instruction, record-keeping, and film filing
• Prepare radiopaque contrast media and assist physicians as needed
• Consistently provide safe, compassionate care tailored to individual patient needs
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to facility standards
