An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled radiologic technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This contract role requires proficiency in multiple imaging modalities, including diagnostic radiology, operating room procedures, fluoroscopy, portable studies, emergency department imaging, and general x-ray exams. You will play a critical role in supporting exceptional patient care through accurate imaging and collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team. Positions are open for both 10-hour and 8-hour day shifts.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid ARRT (R) certification required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience or competency as a radiology or x-ray technologist
- Ability to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures (OR, Fluoro, portable, ED, and routine x-rays)
- Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in radiation safety
- Excellent communication skills for providing clear instructions and compassionate patient support
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging examinations as ordered, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment with expertise and care
- Support physicians during procedures by providing precise imaging and technical assistance
- Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout imaging sessions
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
