Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
  • Valid state license in Radiologic Technology (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures in a healthcare environment
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and image quality standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Accurately document patient procedures and maintain comprehensive records
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained and operating efficiently
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic results
  • Follow all regulatory, hospital, and departmental safety standards and guidelines
