Qualifications & Experience:
- Active credential as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid state license to practice as an X-ray Technologist
- Working knowledge of standard radiology protocols and safety procedures
- Experience with digital radiography equipment and PACS systems
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- BLS certification (current and valid)
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs as ordered by medical providers
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Follow all safety guidelines related to radiation exposure and infection control
- Maintain clear, accurate records and documentation within electronic health systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Assist with equipment maintenance and quality control checks
- Adapt to varying schedules, and respond calmly to emergent situations when required
