Qualifications:

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Valid state license in Radiologic Technology
  • Proficient in standard X-ray procedures and digital imaging systems
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and radiology safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and quality patient care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiology examinations, including X-rays and other imaging as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort and safety at all times
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure images meet physician and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and all institutional protocols
  • Inspect and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
