Qualifications:

  • Current certification with ARRT (R) is required
  • BLS certification must be maintained and up to date
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnostic radiology is essential
  • Capable of utilizing imaging equipment across multiple modalities, including OR, fluoro, portable studies, emergency department, and general radiography
  • Proven ability to prioritize patient safety and comfort while consistently producing high-quality images
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing departmental needs

Schedule:

  • Options include 10-hour and 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to provider orders, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
  • Support surgical teams with intraoperative imaging in the operating room
  • Conduct fluoroscopic procedures for various studies and interventions
  • Complete portable imaging for patients unable to travel
  • Provide timely support to the emergency department for urgent radiologic assessments
  • Ensure patient identification, preparation, and education for each examination
  • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and collaborate with providers for optimal patient care
  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper function and safety compliance
  • Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and continuing education activities
