Travel Radiological (X-Ray) Technologist - Marietta, Georgia

A skilled Imaging - Radiology Tech is needed for a contract opportunity. This position offers a chance to work with a dedicated healthcare team and support essential diagnostic imaging services.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required
• State licensure in Radiology Technology, or eligibility
• Outstanding imaging skills with a strong understanding of radiographic equipment
• Ability to follow proper imaging protocols and safety standards
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication abilities
• BLS certification preferred
• Previous hospital or healthcare facility experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiology equipment to conduct imaging studies as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Accurately document and maintain patient records in accordance with facility standards
• Follow all radiation safety procedures and infection control guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
• Monitor equipment to ensure safe, accurate operation; report malfunctions as necessary
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all relevant regulatory protocols
