Travel Radiological (X-Ray) Technologist - Mason, Ohio

As a Radiology Technologist working evenings in a dynamic operating room setting, you'll be exposed to innovative surgical and imaging practices, expanding your skill set and resume. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and sharpen your expertise through hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, including O-Arm and C-Arm systems, while gaining proficiency in CT and Stealth Navigation.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Thursday, 9:00pm to 7:30am

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and document patient clinical history and lab work
• Position and immobilize patients for optimal imaging results
• Ensure patient safety and minimize radiation exposure following ALARA guidelines
• Perform radiographic procedures and operate imaging equipment
• Assist practitioners in fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures
• Verify informed consent; complete pre- and post-procedure documentation
• Administer contrast as prescribed; document patient dose exposures
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification and OH State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (required, or obtained prior to patient care)
• Strong experience in OR imaging, including C-Arm (required) and O-Arm (preferred)
• One year of experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
• EPIC and PACS experience (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and critical thinking
