Radiologic Technologist - Matthews, NC

This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Imaging - Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist eager to make an impact in a dynamic, high-acuity hospital environment. You'll work within a renowned teaching facility offering a wide spectrum of radiology exams—serving both adult and pediatric patients in the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and as outpatients.

Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour day shifts: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Weekend position, all weekends worked during assignment
• Participation in call rotation required; frequency is fairly shared within the team
• Holiday coverage expected unless otherwise approved in advance
• 13-week contract, consistent agreed-upon schedule

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant radiologic technologist experience
• Active ARRT-R certification and BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills, adaptability to high patient acuity, and comfort in a fast-paced setting
• Effective communication, teamwork, and a collaborative attitude
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
• Able to work all scheduled weekends and participate equally in call rotations

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of radiologic examinations for diverse adult and pediatric populations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient care
• Operate Shimadzu, Konica, GE, and Siemens imaging equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records within EPIC EMR
• Adhere to departmental protocols and demonstrate proficiency in exams related to trauma, stroke, chest pain, and other diagnoses
• Participate in fair rotation of call duties and holiday coverage
