Radiologic Technologist in Matthews, NC

Schedule:

• 8-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday
• 11:00pm – 7:30am
• No weekend or weekday rotations—workdays remain consistent throughout the assignment
• Expect to work holidays only if they fall on regular scheduled shifts

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent)
• Valid state licensure as required
• Prior experience as a Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiology protocols, imaging equipment, and patient safety procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently on overnight shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general radiology and X-ray imaging procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases per physician orders
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain high standards of image quality
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout each procedure
• Accurately document and archive images in the appropriate digital systems
• Assist with portable X-rays within different areas of the facility as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists, referring clinicians, and ancillary staff as part of the patient care team
