Seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with expertise in both general imaging and X-ray to take on a vital role in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity requires a skilled professional with a commitment to high standards of patient care and technical excellence.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Valid and active state licensure as required
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a clinical imaging environment (preferred)
  • Proficient operating radiology and X-ray equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and privacy protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including general radiology and X-rays, in accordance with established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients to ensure quality imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety
  • Properly document and archive imaging studies and patient information
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other technologists to provide optimal care and workflow efficiency
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as directed, reporting any malfunctions
  • Uphold all safety standards related to radiation exposure and infection control
  • Provide clear instructions and support to patients and families throughout imaging procedures
