Take part in providing vital diagnostic services at a leading healthcare facility. This role involves delivering high-quality imaging services with a primary focus on radiology and X-ray procedures for a diverse patient population, including adult, inpatient, outpatient, and occasional pediatric patients. The position requires someone with demonstrated expertise in x-ray imaging, fluoroscopy, surgical environments, and trauma care, with exposure to advanced technologies. You’ll work within a supportive team in a hospital setting recognized for its advanced trauma and NICU services.
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts: Friday–Sunday, 6:30pm–7:00am (36 hours/week)
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of strong, relevant experience (travelers with 2 years’ experience welcome)
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy, surgical imaging, portable and trauma x-rays; O-arm experience preferred; DEXA skills a plus
- Experience using Cerner EMR and GE/Siemens equipment preferred
- Ability to adapt to various hospital settings and float within the Radiology department
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures—both routine and complex—according to department protocols
- Deliver patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including trauma and emergency cases
- Operate and maintain a range of imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, DR, portables, and specialized machines
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
- Maintain accurate documentation within Cerner EMR
- Participate in required orientation and ongoing departmental education
- Flexible floating as needed to support all areas of the Radiology department
