X-Ray Technologist - Millbrook, AL

This contract opportunity calls for an experienced individual with expertise as a Radiologic Technologist, comfortable with inpatient and outpatient imaging—including adult and occasional pediatric cases—in a large facility with advanced trauma, NICU, and stroke services.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts: Friday–Sunday, 6:30pm–7:00am
• 36 hours per week

Essential Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Proven experience in X-ray, with solid skills in fluoroscopy, surgery, portable, trauma, and diagnostic imaging
• O-arm experience is preferred; DEXA experience considered a plus but not required
• At least 1 year of recent, relevant experience for seasoned travelers; at least 2 years for first-time travelers
• Familiarity with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy systems, GE portables, Konica DR, Carestream portable, and Cerner EMR

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality radiologic images across departments, supporting both routine and urgent procedures
• Operate a range of imaging equipment to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning
• Float between main radiology department areas based on clinical demand
• Provide compassionate, attentive care for a diverse patient population
• Accurately document procedures and patient information using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
