A skilled radiologic technologist is needed to provide high-quality imaging services in a large healthcare setting with a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity involves working closely with a team of professionals in a busy, well-equipped radiology department.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 pm–7:00 am)
  • 36 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Fluoroscopy and surgery imaging experience is mandatory
  • Experience with portable, trauma, and diagnostic X-rays
  • O-arm experience preferred; DEXA a plus, but not required
  • Minimum of one year of strong, relevant experience (two years for first-time travelers)
  • Comfortable caring for adult inpatients and outpatients, with occasional pediatric cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, portable, trauma, and diagnostic X-rays
  • Adapt to various areas within the main radiology department as needed, providing coverage throughout the hospital
  • Work efficiently with Cerner EMR and multiple imaging platforms (GE, Siemens, Konica, Carestream)
  • Deliver imaging services for approximately four patients per hour, with dedicated 1:1 patient ratios in certain settings
  • Participate in hospital orientation and training to ensure smooth integration into workflows
  • Fulfill weekend and holiday rotation requirements as outlined by department policy
