Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) | Newark, New Jersey

Schedule:

• 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., four days a week
• Minimum of 9 shifts per month
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when paged
• 24-hour call coverage required on Saturdays and Sundays

What you’ll bring:

• Current and valid NJ ARRT license (priority consideration)
• Strong Cath Lab experience, able to assist in cath procedures and PCIs
• Demonstrated expertise with the C-Arm machine and routine lead maintenance
• Fluoroscopy certification and experience working in such settings
• Proficiency in assisting with or performing Impella and balloon pump insertions
• Experience in scrub IR procedures, including nephrostomy tube, PICC, permacath, and pacemaker insertions, as well as cerebral thrombectomy
• Skills aligning with RCIS-level requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality imaging and support for cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the wider care team
• Respond promptly for emergency or off-hours call coverage
• Maintain patient safety and equipment standards, especially during invasive procedures
