This role is based at a large healthcare facility with a state-of-the-art interventional platform, serving as a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. You’ll have the opportunity to work across specialized environments—including Cath Labs, EP, Hybrid, and IR rooms—building your resume with complex cases and gaining exposure to innovative workplace practices. Collaborate with skilled professionals and strengthen your experience with advanced procedures while learning new leadership approaches and cross-training when possible.

Schedule/Hours

  • Call rotation: 10-11 call shifts per month (includes two weekends)
  • Call hours: Weekdays 4p-7a; weekends from 4p Friday through 7a Monday
  • 30-minute response time required
  • Holiday call duty: 1-2 holidays per contract

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • ARRT certification and valid IEMA (IL Radiologic Technologist) license
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience; hybrid experience preferred
  • Ability to scrub and pan simultaneously; proficiency with Impella and balloon pump devices
  • Hemodynamic monitoring experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to expand your clinical expertise

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic and interventional radiology support for adult inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Operate imaging equipment in Cath Lab, EP, Hybrid, and IR settings
  • Collaborate closely within interdisciplinary teams for patient safety
  • Maintain accurate charting in EPIC and modality-specific systems
