A skilled radiology professional is needed for a contract assignment performing advanced imaging and X-ray procedures in a dynamic clinical environment. This role calls for a dedicated Radiologic Technologist with a strong background in handling a variety of imaging equipment, especially experience working independently in high-volume healthcare settings.
Schedule:
- 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Every other weekend required
- 37.5 hours per week, part-time schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality imaging and radiology services following state and federal regulations as well as professional standards
- Operate, monitor, and maintain imaging equipment (including GE systems) to ensure accurate and safe patient care, including OR procedures
- Evaluate patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures; revise protocols as needed to meet individual patient needs
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and manage daily procedure schedules in a 900-bed clinical setting
- Ensure all documentation is current and complete; support quality improvement efforts and assist with any additional assigned duties
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 months of recent experience in radiologic technology, ideally with GE equipment and within large, fast-paced facilities
- Able to function independently, including in surgical/OR environments
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
- Current NJ State RT License, ARRT certification, and BLS certification required
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Up-to-date on recent trends in clinical practice and imaging technology
